Pilates is a low impact yet challenging mind and body workout. It focuses on lengthening and strengthening the muscles.
Pilates helps your body to move more efficiently and with ease. Joints and muscles need to be properly aligned to enable joints to move freely becoming less prone to injury.
We work on Balance to help prevent falls and to develop stabilising muscles. We work on mobility to aid nourishment of the spinal discs by increasing blood supply.
Every Pilates exercise is very precise, aiming to improve:
Pilates can be practiced by men and women of all ages at different levels.
“Pilates is complete coordination of body, mind, and spirit. You first purposefully acquire complete control of your own body and then through proper repetition of its exercises you gradually and progressively acquire that natural rhythm and coordination associated with all your subconscious activities. A few well-designed movements, properly performed in a balanced sequence, are worth hours of doing sloppy calisthenics or forced contortion.”

I have been looking for a local Pilates class for a while and I'm delighted that I managed to find Amber's class. Both Amber and Frankie are fantastic teachers and I look forward to pilates every week. It has also really helped me with back pains so overall a fantastic class I shall certainly be continuing. Thank you x
As a complete beginner I have loved the classes over the last few months. Amber is so supportive and encouraging and I have really noticed the difference in my strength and flexibility. Each class is challenging and fun.
Absolutely brilliant. A total work out and you don’t know the hour has past. You see results and you do know later you’ve done that hour. No pain. No gain.
I was a newcomer to Pilates. Amber is very supportive and encouraging. The Pilates really helped me recovery from knee replacement surgery. I am so much stronger and energetic.
